Congrats!

Just remember that you NEED those calories so your baby will grow as needed. Don't be scared to eat -- a lot of it is funnelled right to your baby. :)

Congratulations! As long as you exercise and eat a healthy caloric intake, you shouldn't have trouble loosing the weight after your pregnancy. Women were made to be able to bear children in a healthy fashion, its just that some women think they need to eat for two during pregnancy instead of eating more of the healthy foods. Congratulations and I know you will do great with keeping up your exercise. yoga and walking were great for me during my pregnancy.

Congratulations. I understand you not wanting to undo all your hard work. You don't have to eat twice of everything but you do need to follow a healthy diet to make sure you and baby get all the nutrients you both need so don't deprive yourself. Keep up the gentle exercise, just as you're planning and I'll bet you'll be fine. I reccommend you breast feed after the baby is born it really helped me get back into shape. Take care.

Hi There,

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am Rachel from BabyFit and I would suggest asking your OB what calories range is right for you. Then you can manually enter that range in to the Nutrition Tracker on BabyFit. BabyFit calculates a guideline, but of courcse your Doc knows your situation best.

The Nutrition Tracker will help you get all the nutrients you need with the calorie racnge your doctor thinks works best for you.

Hope that helps! Enjoy you pregnancy!

congrats! I think that calorie range is right on and you shouldnt gain too much. just keep up your current exercise level. You are already fit and used to exercise so it shouldnt be a problem to continue it.

have a wonderful healthy pregnancy

I'm pregnant!!

I am VERY happy and excited, but very scared to gain alot of weight.

I worked so hard to get where I am, I don't want to blow it after the baby is born.

I joined up with BabyFit and that seems like a nice place, but I'm still scared.

The thought of consuming 2000-2300 cals really freaks me out.

Just wanted to share my joy!!!
