Most places that you can eat out at have a low calorie or low carb menu now. Also, I would opt for places with a salad bar or that you know has good salads on their menu and just try to do the best you can. Remember to stay hydrated and drink only water and that should help too! Good luck!

Debbi,
Congrats on the 4lb loss your first week. That's what I had too! Woohoo!
I read an article on here just yesterday and here's a link...it talks about eating on the road. Don't forget to get your 3 spark points for reading it too :)

Hope that helps! A lot of fruits can sit out so that saves some space in the hotel fridge (that is if you have one hopefully)! In the fridge I'd suggest yogurt, veggies, and maybe some cheese or other yummy dairy non-milk replacements...fat free cottage cheese is one I love too. An then on the counter you could keep some good whole grain bread/english muffins etc. Oh and stick Hummus in the fridge. It's great w/ the veggies and grains. Yum Yum!

Hi everyone, I near the end of my first week. I lost 4 lbs. I think it was the pop or soda. I went from drinking quite a bit to only water. I do dairy a different way, not much of a milk drinker.
Here's the issue, for the first part of our vacation we will be hotel bound for four days. I am trying to plan for it, and come up with ways around eating out. Any tips?
