| I have similar problem. I am 5' 11" and 135 pound runner who tries to keep a six pack, so yes, the baggy shirt thing is irritating. A couple of stores that does provide some trendy and moderate priced shirts in athletic cut is Kohl's and Target. Target specializes in trendy young men look with the fitted dress shirts and t-shirts.

| I like the buy the "Alfani Fitted" line of shirts. I work hard in the gym and I don't want to cover my mid-section with a big baggy shirt.

| I find slim fit shirts usually work, I have a large neck and well whole upper body, but am short and now thankfully thin. If I get slim fit in my size they usually fit well. Try that first as it may save you money over custom fit or tailored shirts.

| I have the same problem. I'm 5' 10" tall with a 17.5" neck. It's really hard to find shirts that I can button the top button on. I bought a suit a few weeks ago and got my shirt from the big and tall section. They actually had a good selection of shirts with different neck sizes and arm lengths for the stockier guys out there. That being said, the shirts I found were still a bit big at the waist, but it didn't matter in my case since it would be worn under a suit jacket.

| I had a similar problem when I was younger and exercising 6x per week. At first a fitted shirt was ok. eventually, I had to have everything custom made for me. Maybe things have changed since then, but if I needed a shirt, I went to the tailor. No stores had anything that even remotely fit.

Have you tried custom shirts? There are a number of places one can get them. They are worth it.

Howdy! Do any of you know of a brand of dress shirts that are more fitted for an athletic body?? (live in Seattle area, if you know- any stores in that area as well?)
My fiance is a wrestler and needless to say has a HUGE neck plus broad shoulders and a small waste (v-shaped body). If a shirt fits his neck it is WAY too big for his middle. If it fits the middle, he cannot move his arms or breathe. May just need to have alterations done but wanted to check first. Thanks in advance!
