| I LOVE the 10 minute solutions DVDs, they're great. You do 1 if you can fit in one, but the DVD lets you program up to 6, and in whatever order you want. The little 10 minute sections make it easy to fit in whatever you have time for. I do the one with Jennifer Gilardi, it's a hip-hop dance program. It sounds perfect for what you're looking for!

| I've tried Tae Bo too. I liked it but it started getting hard on my knees. I'm trying to get started on a good Tai Chi workout video. I know it's not hard impact cardio. but I've heard its a good start. What do you guys think?

| I love Billy Blanks Tae Bo, but does anyone else get frustrated that he doesn't work evenly on the left and right. He'll do like 24 reps on one side and 8 on the other. I have to do the workout 5 or 6 times to remember where to swap over and get a balanced workout. His abs routines are by far the best I've come across though!

Has anyone heard of or tried yoga Booty Ballet? My daughter saw the infomercial and really really wants to get it. I haven't seen the infomercial, so I don't really know what it is.
Anyone?

| I love Cathe Friedrich but unfortunately I'm not very coordinated to keep up with her step aerobics. I really like her strengthening videos. I also love Gilad. They're both on FitTV or you can get their videos.

| at the moment i cannot think of any exact titles from netflix - i try to pick ones that users rated 3 stars or more. the beauty of netflix is that the turnaround is pretty quick, so if you pick a couple and find you don't like the first one just send it back. everyone keeps talking about the turbo jam series, but i don't believe they have that one on netflix :(.

| Any good suggestions from Netflix? I would love to find a hip hop type exercise video, but I just don't know which one to choose. Let me know what if any titles you thought were good. At this point, I will try anything that might keep me motivated.

I also like the Jillian Michaels DVDs - I try to do these M-W-F, and then in between I do the 3-mile Walk Away the Pounds DVD.
Another suggestion is NETFLIX - I'm already a member, so I sometimes try out new exercise DVDs through Netflix - and then buy the DVD if I really like it.
Good Luck!!

| Thank you for all your advice and help. I am going to check into these and you know I never thought about the library. Duh! Just keep the suggestions coming. I like a little variety too. Helps put an interesting spin on the day and not just the same old routine. Thanks again!

| I'm hooked on the Prevention DVD's hosted by Chris Freytag. I actually look forward to doing them. She's motivating, and pleasant. Plus, they are very inexpensive.

| You might check out beachbody.com for some workout dvds. I've got P90 (has both cardio and weights dvds), Slim in 6 (cardio & toning), and my personal favourite is Turbo Jam. It's got good music to along with it, and Chalene always keeps me interested!

I like to have options so i keep a wide variety of videos including; Billy Blanks Tae Bo, Windsor Pilates, and Jillian Michael (the biggest loser) workout. THe only areobics video i have is Cathe which i find pretty good. Also, if u pressed for time i suggest the McDonald's 15 min workout dvd's. They come free when you buy a salad and a bottle of water and there just as effective as buying any other workout video! -hope that helps!

Welcome, I am just starting the walk away the pounds dvds. They have a 1, 2, 3, and 4 mile dvd. May not be what you are looking for though. My suggestion would be to check out your local library for different tapes/dvds. If you find one you really like then you can go purchase it. Another good place to look is at the thrift stores. I have heard people have picked up fitness tapes for only a dollar or two. Good luck,

| Hi there! I am new to SparkPeople, less than a week, actually. I am so excited about SparkPeople. I just have a hard time with excercising or for that matter finding time. Does anyone have any good cardio workout videos that they could suggest? I have a Kathy Smith Kickboxing. I guess I would like to find some kind of aerobics or even some kind of hip hop excercise video. Problem is there are so many out there, I don't want to choose one and not like it. You would think that being a stay at home mom, I would find all kinds of time to excercise, but I also watch a few of my friends kids and it keeps me pretty busy. Especially since I started watching the newborn. I really am trying to work everything in, it just seems some days just aren't long enough. If only a day could be 30 -35 hours long, then I might even actually be able to put some time in for me.....doubt it! I am just so glad to have someone here for me to encourage me. My friends sometimes are really no help. Thank you for any help you can give me about the excercise videos.
