| Deeper than the East yes, but tougher than the big three in the East not so sure.

White Sox are in the toughest division in baseball, so if they win their division, they'll win it all!!
GO SOX!

If the Mets can settle down on the starting rotation and the kids pan out they should be the team to beat.
Last year was their real shot but their bats went to sleep in game 7 pf the NLCS.
Watched game 7 of the 1986 world series last night on SNY. Especially the part where Orosco's glove never lands.

| Ok, so the the projected lineup and rotation in pre-season can be deceiving. After all players get injured and lineups change throughout the year. Projecting who will win a division is like forecasting the weather. Good luck and Let's go Mets!

This is the year of the Phils in the NL. I'll just let you guess who I'm rooting for in the AL.

| i know i'm biased, but i don't know how you leave the mets off the list of the best teams in the NL. their rotation is admittedly weak, but their lineup and bullpen are insane. and i don't know about the yankees this year - the one thing i have learned over the years is that you can never count them out (just like the braves), but i don't see them going too far.

| No way on the Yankees...It's time for their reign to end on the AL East. I am not a huge Yankee-hater, but I'd love to see the Red Sox win the AL East and have the Bluejays return to their glory days and at least make the playoffs!

I'm hoping the Yankees make it. I don't care who they play, as long as they beat them.
Preseason, I think the best teams in the NL are San Diego, LA, Arizona, Philly, Chicago and you can't count out the defending champs St. Louis.

Justin,
I like the way you think, but I'd like to see the Mets in 7. Just like it was back in 1886. Ok, I know it was 1986, but it seems like 1886. I am sure you can relate to a world series drought. LOL!

Sorry...I am not a guy, and therefore my opinion may not count in here...haha
I'm hoping for a great Red Sox season (and a bad Yankee season)
So I say, Red Sox and I would love to see the Cubs have a good year (finally).
If not the Red Sox, then Detroit. To early to tell!

| Have to pull for the underdogs with D-Backs. Interested to see how they will do with younger blood, except for Randy Johnson. It is a long shot, but I think the talent is there this year. We will see.

Hey Guys -
Spring Training games officially started this week. So who are your picks for the World Series?
I am going with the hometown Red Sox vs. Mets in the World Series with the Sox taking it in 7.
