| Good nite!!! You are right about the calorie intake of the Brownies. I took the intake info for one serving as noted on the boxes...maya copa. Can't belive that. Good to know SOMEONE is on their toes!! As you said....still a very low intake per brownie :) And to think I should KNOW that stuff inside and out!!!

| Yeah - that's way too low. When you calculate for a total recipe you have to take into consideration the # of servings in the item. For example when you look at the cake mix, it will say # of servings per container, if there are 10 servings then you have to take the calories & multiply by 10, then add to your total calculation.

That didn't sound like very many calories. I looked up some numbers.
Cake 2040 Pudding 180 Nonfat milk 166 Choc chips 280
Equals 2666 calories divided by 24 = 111 each
It sounds good and is still a lower calorie version.

I just was going thru some great low cal recipes from my Healthy Decisions business and found my Brownie recipe. I have tried to calculate the carbs., total calories, and the fats per serving by using the info on the labels of product. Here goes...I just made them and...WOW. Best Brownies 1 (1.3 oz) package of JELLO cook'n serve chocolate pudding mix (Sugar-free & Fat-free). 1 box chocolate cake mix 2 cups skim milk 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
In large heavy sauce pan, cook pudding as directed using skim milk. Quickly dump the DRY cake mix into the hot pudding and stir well to mix. Spray a 16 x 10 jellyroll pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into pan and spread evenly...this is somewhat difficult, but be patient. Sprinkle the choc. chips over the batter. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted at center of brownies. Cool. Cut into 24 brownies. I THINK the numbers are: Total for entire pan...Carbs=32 fats =25 Calories- 210 Per Brownie............Carbs=1.3333 fats =1.0416666 Calories=8.75 What do ya think???
