Fallon said the treatment hurt just for a bit but nothing extreme.. she really like the results.. the girl told us that she would need five treatments 5 to 8 weeks apart to zap the hair follicles..after the 5 treatments then they would get spaced out more... every person is different. you're right if the hair comes back it's very little.. one thing that did surprise me is that the laser only works on dark hair.. i would highly recommend laser.. the creams only remove the surface as does shaving this is only a temporary fix so the laser is the way to go. If you need prices let me know and i'll e-mail.. Good luck to you and your daughter which ever way you decide.... i have some pics of Fallon when she was younger in my sparkpage....take care

| was the laser treatment painful??? i have heard that if you remove the hair on children (before the age of puberty) from the root (not just shaving, which is removing hair from the skin), then the hair does not come back. or if it does, it comes back very little...i need some ideas for my daughters (and myself :) as well...

Thanks for the update! I hope this gives her more confidence in herself. Little girls have so much to worry about without having to feel embarrassed about this too!

| I took my 10 yr old daughter to get the laser treatment for the upper lip and in between eyebrows.. of course we have to go back every 5 to 8 weeks for who knows how long... thanks to those who had suggestions from creams to tweezing. We did the laser yesterday and she is really really happy of the results but i cautioned her that it would be ongoing and she just smiled and said ..O.K.. she could hardly wait to go to school today to see if anyone noticed and i'm sure they will..... Thanks again... oh by the way happy Valentines day :)
