Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Have you guys had as LONG of a February as we have in Ohio?? It has been so cold all month, the kids have missed so much school they are adding on days in the summer:( I am back on the weightloss bandwagon as of today.. I need to lose at least some weight before spring break in April. We are going to Disneyworld for a few days! I've still been working out on a regular basis at the rec. center but I need to increase the intensity and fix my bad eating habits. So now comes the hard part, actually doing something about it! Debbie~ congrats on the 117! Hi other skinnies.. what has Michelle been up to? Anyone heard from her? Talk to you all soon, Becky

Guess what I weighed this morning everyone???
117!!! Yahoo!!! I haven't weighed that since before I had kids. I'm so excited! Eating better and jazzercise are paying off. :) Today is our 13th anniversary. We don't have anything planned so I decided to make Mark his favorite dinner tonight. The end of March we are going to a marriage conference so at least we will get that weekend w/out the kids. ;)

Sorry to hear you've been sick and about the diabetes. I was hoping you were able to keep it under control w/ your diet, but I didn't even think about how to do that when you are sick. I was thinking the other day that I had forgotten that you had gestational diabetes. Because I was shocked when you said you were diagnosed w/ it, then I remembered about that. Are you taking that stuff yet? If so, how is it working? I forgot to ask about the glyconutrients, what kind are they? I have a friend that takes them and says one kind is better than another becuase it has something in it the others don't. I didn't even realize there was more than one kind. So, I thought I would ask you which kind you have. It was great seeing you and you look great! So, you want to lose 10 more lbs? I know we all have stuff we want to fix. I am still trying to fix those flabby areas on my lower region, tone them up anyway. My upper body is really shaping up though. I saw my trainer the other day and she said I really looked fit:) It was good to hear that. Of course, she said it would just take time w/ my lower body since it is hereditary and it's the last place that my body lets go of. So, more time and discipline. I just can't get back below 144. I have plateaued. So, I am increasing the intensity of my workouts and change my meals up a little. Let's see how that does after a week. I started spinning again. I am going to try to do that 3 times a week and see if that helps too. I need to be pushed sometimes. I think I will make another appt. w/ my trainer next week. I haven't had an appt w/ her since Thanksgiving when she first put me on this program. So, now it's time to get a different routine. Good to hear from you.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to pop on here real quick. I've had the flu since Feb 8th and the kids had it the week prior. Today is the first day I don't have a fever.
We had a great time skiing the end of January. We will probably go back next year with the same homeschool group. Plus, we were able to stop by and see Cindi on the way back. It was neat to see her again. Cindi, you look great, btw!
Not much else is going on right now. I'm trying really hard not to be depressed about the diabetes, but it is hard. Yesterday was especially tough. It's really hard to control your blood sugar when you are sick. Hopefully it will start getting easier when I'm well again. I'm going to try to lose another 10 lbs, which would take me to 110. I know that sounds too thin, but I used to think I was fat at 110!
Anyway, hope you are all doing well. Please check in and let us know how you all are doing.
