I know lilkim already mentioned it but I love PB2. I've had it for 2 wks and the 1st jar is 3/4 gone. Good thing I ordered 4 jars :) It is amazing mixed in ice cream and I've used it a handful of other ways as well. I didn't like it much in the frozen PB cups recipe - but it might have been the hersey's lite chocolate that turned me off.

But generally a big yay for me. Check it out at hungry girl.

I love peanut butter. I had to give in this morning and have a PB&J sandwich. Then I logged it and ouch! I think I am going to have to check out the PB2.

PB is a daily part of my diet. I eat it (now don't get grossed out) by the teaspoon on my way out the door or when i'm feeling over hungry and know it isn't time for a snack. My other fav is to put it on Back to Basics wheat thin crackers. PB is great for you---but only the natural kind!

PB2 is the way to go! It's awesome. I like to put it on top of chocolate pudding and mix it into my oatmeal. it's wonderful stuff and so low in cals too.

I love peanut butter! There's no way I could ever give it up. I try to stick to the recommended serving though. My toast and english muffins are definitely not as Peanut Butter covered as they were before!

But I like cream cheese as well...I might have to try this recipe. Thanks!

I also mix Peanut Butter in with Fage brand yogurt. It is a plain greek yogurt that is low sugar and it makes a very tasty yogurt on its own and yummy as an apple slices dip :)

I still have my PB every now and then. It is good to eat when I am low on fat and protein for the day- and if I have enough calories left!

I just invented a snack and it was really good. I mixed 1/2 cup of non-fat cottage cheese and 1 tsp (not Tbsp) of natural peanut butter. It was so good and stretched that wonderful Peanut Butter taste out to many spoonfuls!

I still eat peanut butter. I've found that eliminating something I love only sets me up for a binge later on. I eat everything I like, in moderation. (OK, at least I TRY to eat in moderation).

I just ordered the PB2, I have heard wonderful things about it. I cant wait to get it. Peanut butter, even the lowfat kind is a huge red flag food for me and I miss it. Kathie

I still indulge in Peanut Butter (and other nuts). Good fats if you don't overindulge!

I am very curious about the PB2 though!

My favorite (and fast) breakfast.
(I'm trying to do low-carb...)

1 low-carb whole wheat tortilla (microwave for 30 secs)

1.5 tbs of reduced fat Peanut Butter (I love skippy chunky!)

Then, add some spray butter (0 cal) for a warm, slightly sweet, slightly salty breakfast.

It is really fast (my work day starts at 8)and soo good, I actually look forward to it when I'm going to sleep at night!

Has anyone tried Sesame Tahini?
Here's what it looks like:
http://shopuncleharrys.dukestores.duke.edu/images/hot%20coco%20006.jpg

I haven't tried it because I'm low on cash and don't want to splurge on something I might hate, but it's in the Peanut Butter section of most stores, and seems to be a "sesame seed butter". Anyone have good or bad reviews of it?

I love to mix 1 tbsp peanut butter, one packet of Splenda and 4 oz of Fage plain yogurt. I use this as a dip for sliced apples and I just love it :)

I love Peanut Butter and buy the "peanuts only" variety. But I don't like the oil rising to the top and having to stir every time, so I mix in a couple of tablespoons (or so) of wheat germ. Extra nutrition and no more need to stir. Keep the jar in the frig though.

I'm a natural PB convert! I had to buy some new Peanut Butter to replace my peter pan that we had to pitch this week, and I bought smucker's natural Peanut Butter - only peanuts and salt, and i love the non sweet peanut taste... yum!

Okay, I know it sounds a little wierd, but I posted a message a bit ago about PB2...I ordered it and it came this week and I absolutly love it! I HIGHLY recommend it. I have eaten it every day this week! I have made regular PB, mixed it with jelly for a PB&J, tried it in desserts (ice cream). And it only has 54 calories in 2 tbsp!

I refuse to give up my peanut butter, mostly because I'm hypoglycemic and if I get shaky a spoonful will usually restore me. But I buy the low-fat variety; I'd be so happy if they'd make a low-fat AND low-sugar variety!

SWEYTHMAN, you can easily make your own nut butters in your food processor, my DH & I experimented with that. Put the peanuts in, and let it go until you get a large, rough ball. Sprinkle with a little bit of salt and a little bit of peanut oil, and pulse until you get a creamy consistency.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I ordered some of the PB2 from hungry-girl.com's suggestion. I have been tracking my shipment and it will be here any minute now. I will make sure to let you guys know how it tastes! Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out!

I love PB too. My husband tells everyone that if it wasn't for PB I wouldn't be able to cook. I do use a lot of it! I'm excited about all the good ideas here. I grew up mixing PB with white syrup and we ate it on everything. That has been really hard to give up! I think I will try mixing some with yogurt. I hadn't even thought of that before today! Wow, I love this site.........

i love Peanut Butter (i'm eating a pbj sandwich right now!), but i only buy the all-natural stuff -- nothing but peanuts and a little salt -- i won't touch the processed brands.

I love Peanut Butter so much I use to eat it on a spoon. I still eat it but just watch how much of it I eat. It is a food I can't live without!!

Niagoddess- I just tried the cool whip, PB, choc syrup dessert. Oh my! So heavenly. I did 2 tbls of reduced fat PB, 1 tbl. cool whip free, and 1 tbl. Smucker sugar free hot fudge topping. It was actually a little too much (ha- I was worried it wouldn't be enough!) I think next time I will do 1 tblsp. of each. That cuts the calories tremendously since 2 tblsp. of PB is 190 calories. Thanks for the idea. My NEW indulgence!! BF can have the Mrs. Edwards lemon meringue pie or choc chip cookies for V-Day dessert tomorrow night. I can have this and I won't even be jealous!

Halalglory- A friend of mine from school does that- buys natural PB then mixes two packets of splenda into the whole jar when he gets it. I have not tried this yet, but am intrigued.

And I will have to make the PB, cool whip, choc, syrup dessert this weekend. That sounds great.

I still eat it as well. I just watch my portion size and still enjoy it. I've tried the soynut butter and I don't like it as much.

If I get stranded on and island someone throw me a jar of PEANUT BUTTER! I use Peter Pan reduced fat. A little Peanut Butter goes a long way so I never eat the serving size but I usually have 1 teaspoon spread on a gram cracker for a snack. Peter Pan low fat tastes good and has 190 calories for 2 TABLESPOONS and 11 grams of fat. Sugars are 5 grams.
Also I find Peanut Butter fills me up!

There's a lot of things I could give up, but Peanut Butter isn't one of them. I do, however, limit myself to having it as a treat only.

I get Roundy's (store brand) Natural PB. It has only peanuts and a little peanut oil in it. I didn't like it plain, so I mix in some Sweet N'Low. I usually have it with an apple, but when I have a hard time getting my carbs, I will make a PB & J on whole wheat bread. My jam is a non-sugar kind sweetened with Splenda.
