| Love the speeding ticket gift-too funny but great idea! RZ...you are a super hubby it seems. Can I give you my hubby's phone # and you can drop hints to him?? Ha ha! We are going to dinner so wondering if I really need to get him something else. My bday was the 31st of Jan so I feel kind of guilty expecting anything else.

| I paid my husband's speeding ticket. Not very romantic, but he's out of work right now and it seemed kind of dumb to waste money on something else when that needed to be done. I did do it without telling him ahead of time, though. The court date was tomorrow and he got up today saying, " I guess I'll have to go to court tomorrow...so at least I was able to surprise him with it. His gift to me is because he is out of work he is doing a lot of extra stuff at home to help out and that means a lot more than cards or flowers or anything like that.

| We don't do anything for Valentine's Day. My husband's birthday is two weeks before and mine is the day after. We just do something special for our birthdays.

Well...this might sound corny, but I'm giving my wife some time to herself. Time to shop, take a long bath, go out with a friend...whatever she wants. So often she is focused on the family, children, etc that she doesn't get time for herself. Soooooo that is what I'm providing her this Vday season. My love and the gift of free time.

P.S. I'll probably throw in a nice dinner for her and the family too, but that isn't out of the ordinary. I love to cook!!

| I have been doing V-day since Feb 1. I have gave Todd and my girls a small something each day till the 14th. From little love notes to cards homemade or from the store. In Todd's luch I put ribbin that said I LOVE YOU on it around his BLT. This is the month I try to go all out even more than I do everyday to show them how much I love them and need them in every way.

| That's where it's hard because if there's anything through the year that he wants/needs we pretty much just buy it. I will have to go out this weekend to the mall (ugh! I hatethe mall!) and see what I can find.

| I have the problem of an anniversary being way to close to V- day as well. It's so difficult to choose two gifts. I'd save the "biggie" gift for the anniversary and offer to cook him a great meal or make it so he gets a chance to do something he doesn't always get a chance to do. My hubby is so hard to shop for thats what I have to do. Good Luck!

Sorry, I can't help out a whole lot our anniversary is on V day and we probably won't even do anything but say Happy Anniversary. We just have never made a big deal for Birthday's or Anniversary. I was hoping to at least go out since it will be 15 years this time. But since everyone else seems to go out and all the places are packed that day, we will just stay home. I know couple of boring people.

I'm getting DH new golf shoes. Now I just have to get my attitude on board with him playing golf a lot. He's staying active and happy by doing it. At least that's what I keep trying to tell myself.
When thinking about DH, he's a very practical person so I'm always trying to think of something he needs or can use. He's a handyman so tools are always a hit. Golf items as well. (And sadly, he's so practical that even t-shirts, socks, and other personal items are appreciated!) I guess I'm lucky in that!

for Valentine's day?
I just don't know what to get mine. Our anniversary is 2 days later, I'm getting him a new wedding band for that, but just don't know what to do for V day.
