Glad to hear you are doing better this evening. Tomorrow just start off with a positive thought and prayer and you are off to the races. Now I just need to take my own advice and get up with a smile.

Thanks everyone. That's one thing I do need to work on... is how I 'treat' myself if I do go slightly off my food plan.

For years, I truly believe the diet industry sets us up for failure and we are told we are useless if we do go slightly off track. Many of my family members have been supportive over the years, but not my father... he always comments on my weight whenever I see him which makes me feel even more of a failure. Even if I have lost weight, he never seems to notice it.. which is upsetting for me personally.

Anyway.... yes, I am tracking my food intake (mostly)... and no, am not into a proper fitness plan yet... I wanted to take baby steps at this and work out my food plan first, and THEN I'll add a fitness plan once my food plan is under control. Although, in saying that, I have been fairly active outdoors during the past few weeks.

Again, thanks for all your words of encouragement!
Good luck to you all also.

Cheers,
Kelly

Kelly, Just don't be to hard on yourself. Get back on the horse so to speak. Don't stop trying. Have you been exercising? That helps most of all to keep on track because it makes you feel good, you drink more water and that fills you up. If you need a friend please mail me anytime and list me as a friend.

Have you been measuring yourself?
I measure also because I sometimes have a tendacy to retain water and the scales aren't always very accurate.
...And also try to stick to your goal without being too terribly hard on yourself.
I'm proud of you for making this life changing desicion for yourself.
remember this IS a positive change
Also I'm here if you need me...

Even if you're at the stage to go off fast break (in the timeline) if you aren't in the right mindsight and you aren't motivated stay in it! There are some great articles in the Resource area to help you get motivated and stay motivated.

If it helps at all, I never thought that I would be able to work out everyday. But now, I just feel like a bum if I don't do it. Make everything a routine and don't think to hard about it! Don't be afraid to reward yourself, even if it's something small.

I'm not sure what I can say or do to keep you motivated. I do want to telly ou good job on the weight that you have lost so far, and you if keep going you will see more drop off!

Feel free to send me a message if you feel that there is something that I can help you with!

Ok, so I began this weightloss-lifestyle change with a hiss and a roar.... YAY.. I lost 3 kilos (6.6pds) in the first week.... but this last week I really haven't done well, only losing a measly 300 grams.

I'm now way to nervous to go off Fast Break and into the next stage because I am not in the correct mindset at the moment..... eek.....

I would love to have someone to motivate me.... encourage me and help keep me on track! And obviously, I'd do the same for them!

Any takers?
Cheers,
Kelly
