I agree. It's tough to start but you really have to schedule exercise in as a priority. It's hard to justify it at first because I think a lot of us moms are so busy trying to take care of our kids and our families that we make everyone else a priority and don't make time for ourselves. But by making time for exercise, we will be healthier for our kids and setting a great example for them.

You really will feel more energetic once you start exercising. It seems strange, but it is true. Try to shoot for 10-15 minutes each day. If you do more, then great, but at least you have had those 10-15 minutes of exercise each day. Good luck!

Once you get going, you will feel better. I have 2 boys 12 and 10. I get up, drive the oldest to jr high, come back, get youngest take him to school where I work as a building aid for an hour. I come home, work out for an hour then spend an hour cooling off, eating lunch, etc. I go back to work at the school for 1 1/2 hours. After lunch is when I get all my running done. Then I go back to school and work for another 1/2 hour getting the kids on the busses. Then home and cooking dinner, etc.
It can be done if you want to do it bad enough.

I started my journey last friday and I am finding it difficult to come up with enough time to exercise. I have 2 girls in senior kindergarten and between driving back and forth to school and volunteering every other Tues. at their school as well as running a household, I am exhausted before I start working out.
