I get up at 5:30am and do 15 minutes of strength training. Usually some bicep curls, tricep exercises, crunches, and squats. Then I try to do cardio at least 3 days a week in the evening. The summer is better, because I can take my kids for a walk down to the local park. One thing you may want to try is to plan your menu for the week on Sundays and make whatever you can that day or prepare your next days meals at night when the kids are asleep.
It is great to hear that another person is experiencing the same thing. Good luck with your schedule and make sure it is posted somewhere you and your family will be able to see it.

WOW! I thought I was so alone. I had my baby in the middle of my student teaching last spring. Before that I was working and going to school. I am pretty young so I am trying to learn to budget, keep a house, take care of kids, manage a husband, work, study, and at some point in there I am trying to be a person too. So far I am not, but I hope to get there.

I am getting a paper schedule thing today!!! I really hope that helps. Do you get up before your kids to exercise??? I try but I am so lazy in the morning. I know it would be worth it, but the only dieting thing I can seem to do right is drinking plenty of water, and sometimes I am not sure that I am doing that!!!

It was a very tough situation when I first started to juggle dieting, a husband, 2 kids, a full time job, and college, but I have been able to get it together by putting together a schedule. Everyone in my house knows when it is time for me to exercise and they all respect that. I added an stationary exercise bike to my routine so I can study and exercise at the same time. Then on other nights I play Dance, Dance Revolution with my kids to get my cardio and some family time in. I don't think all of this would be possible without the support of my husband. He really puts thought into dinners and helps with doing housework. He really understands that I want to lose the extra weight and helps me whenever possible so that I can be happy.
