Is it spit up? Mine can really spit up a LOT if he eats too much. Plus a lot with teething coming, extra drool, and a little acid reflux can spit a big pile. Here is a little info on what my Dr. had given me when my oldest was sick at about this age.
For future reference this is what my Dr. office gave me when mine was really sick. and she should be on some table foods by now. DIARREHA: NO FRUIT PUNCHES OR JUICES, NO FATTY FOODS, NO SUGARS pedialyte Pasta Banana applesauce crackers toast chicken veggies
For Vomiting: 1 hour after vomiting: Pedialyte (NO WATER) a couple teaspoons every 15 minutes for 1 hour. rest for 1 hr. if vomiting starts over start over again. after 8 hours of NO vomiting start back on the baby rice cereal and applesauce.
When they have both I start with the vomting info first, and get that under control.
Another GREAT book I got as a gift (and my mom now gives to everyone) is the Complete book of Baby and Child care from pre-birth through teen years. The offical book of the focas on the family Physicians resource council. Has tons of stuff for this, bites, scrapes, and other things kids get.

| Little ones tend to have a little acid reflux when they are teething and they eat alot less than normal. Don't force her to eat. Look at her eating in days of 3, if she has one good day you're alright. All children are different but they are more in tune with their bodies than we are. When the teething passes she'll eat everything in the house and she'll let you know she's hungry.

If the throwing up has gone on longer than a few days, I would seek a medical attention. Little ones can dehydrate so quickly. The stomach virus that's going around this year is vicious. Keep pushing fluids. If she's throwing up, try to avoid milk. It's hard to digest and can make throwing up worse. Also try to stay away from juice. The sugar can cause diarrhea and make dehydration worse. Stick to water & pedialyte.
I hope she gets better very soon!

I'm so sorry to hear about your little one being sick! My 15 month old has had some pretty severe colds a couple times, but never where she was throwing up or anything. I do agree though, if it hasn't been going on for a long time, then I'd just try and stick it out and see if she gets better with some TLC. If not, then I'd definitely get her to the dr.
My daughter has never thrown up from teething, but she has gotten coughs and a lot of drooling.

I am sorry your daughter hasn't been feeling well. My children are a little older and unfortunately I don't have any first hand advice. If this hasn't been going on very long than it may just be a bug that a lot of liquids will help to flush from her system but if this has been going on for longer than a month then I might take her for a second opinion. You are right to be concerned.
Take Care,
Rhea

My 13 month old has been sick off and on. I believe it is teething but is not sure. She throws up a lot when she is not feeling good. Last time she did this I took her to the doctor and he said it was all viral infection so it was something she had to get over with. I try to only give her a couple ounces of milk so it doesn't curdle so much in her tummy. I give her lots of juice and pedylyte. Anybody with the same problems and what do you do to help you little one.
