You have me laughing here! I was the same way when I started! But, you are trying to do it all at once...........I see you quit smoking on the same day!
YOU ARE ONE BRAVE PERSON! I am a smoker, and figure I will be better off to take this one step at a time, and will get this eating thing down pat first, then go to the smoking issue.
If it is any consolation, the constant thought of food will subside as time goes by. Takes a while to "retrain" your thinking and habits.
Hang in there! I am cheering for you.

oh gosh, I'm the same way! I love food. But I usually try to eat raw veggies when i get the munchies...usually curbs the cravings

i am exactly the same well if i eat a lot of low fat food ill be ok but by the time the void in my stomach is full all the low fat food is the equivalant to two roast dinners. yet i save my self on the promise of a weight watchers cheescake with only 3.3g of fat and 118 callories. its worth the wait and if i did pig out i would be utterly desolate x

Angie is right. It will get better. In the beginning you don't know how much you can eat and what are the right choices. This is all new. Make sure you are planning snacks in your calorie count so that you don't have to get too hungry. Then try and focus on other things. Soon this will be second nature to you.

It's just that it's all new to you. It will get old real soon. Than you will be able to relax and judge what you can and cannot eat without a second guess. I have been there and still venture back occassionally.

Geez...I just started today, officially anyway. I am doing well but geez all i can think of is food...what I can eat next and when I can eat next and WHAT i will eat next...can I eat now or should I wait. It is unbelievable. I understand that you should think about it but this is insane...I can't get anything else done!
