| As soon as you get home give yourself a small snack to offset the starvation phase before dinner. Mary

| I keep one of my desk drawers set aside for emergency healthy snacks and those microwavable soups. that way, if i forget my lunch or hate what i brought i have a healthy backup.

I've just finished 5 1/2 cups of water. I'm eating the ice now. I carpool with my hubby and he has the car, so going to the store isn't an option. Also, I'm the only one in the office today, so can't leave if I wanted to. I normally have some fruit with me, but I haven't been grocery shopping in a week and ran out. I can modify dinner to smaller portions, but I already modified it to low carb, low fat and cut out a lot of the calories and really didn't want to cut down on the amount. Oh well, lesson learned. I'll be more prepared next time I try something new.
Thanks, Erica

Is there any place where you can go buy any food? That would be the best if you could get some fruit or veggies in place of the Trail mix. If not, how about drinking water? Are you getting in at least 8 glasses of water a day? Or, if you have to have the other portion of trail mix because you are so hungry, then have it and see if dinner could be modified any. Either way, don't see it as being "bad" just a learning experience. I usually have some fruit, cereal, or soup hanging around at work for those kinds of moments. Good Luck!

If you don't like what you brought for lunch?!
I brought a weight watchers meal, the Lemon Chicken Picatta and it would be fine without the lemon sauce, but I just can't get it down. I ate a couple pieces of chicken and maybe half of the rice. I was starving before lunch and was really looking forward to it. But to me, it is nasty!
I do have a couple of servings of trail mix with me. I'm slowly eating one serving now but if I break down and eat the second one then with dinner included that will put me over my calorie limit for the day.
Any ideas to get me to the end of the work day?
Erica
