I just ordered it today as a present for myself. Seems like I'll enjoy it.

I received YF for Christmas and started it not long after and really enjoy it! I have been sore more than once but I have also had a lot more energy and have been sleeping better at night as well. Maya is a great motivator when she gets on your case for missing a day or two. Makes you feel guilty!

Hi! I have had yourself fitness for a couple years now. When I was fit I would do it in the winter instead of my normal outdoor running routine. Now I have been using regularly. I really enjoy. I just completed workout 81. It has definitely started to tone me up already. I am excited about the possible new version yourself lifestyle. Check out www.yourselffitness.com. They have their own forum there and I keep my personal journal there Lauren612. We should start a yourself fitness team. Anyone else interested?

I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now. I love it so far. The biggest problem that I've been having is that the cardio is WAY too intense for me I keep telling her that I can't keep up, but it doesn't seem that she's listening, lol.

I've unlocked one music and one new location.

Yea, you can get it for the older XBox I think.

I have opened one music and one location, but I still have two left to open.

I have tried Tae Bo. Its a bit challenging, but I really like it. If you keep doing it you will see changes in a few weeks. In my case last time I lost about 20 pounds. It took me about 3 years to gain 10 of those pounds. So I know it works. Hope you can try the tae bo videos. good luck

This sounds pretty cool.
Is it made for all the different game systems?
(We have the older Xbox)

Hi :)

The best price I found was on Overstock.com. I've seen them on Ebay, too. Be careful if you bid through Ebay, though, because there are a few different versions of this game. There is the full blown game which is offered for PS2, PC's, etc. and then there is a mini version which, I think, was put out as some promotional thing by McDonald's. You'll know those because they are usually cheaper and run about $5. The full blown game is around $25 - $30.

Are you still looking for a Y!F buddy? I've been looking, too!!! :)

I bought it a few months back, but I've only really started to get into it in the last 1.5 months. I try to do it in addition to some work on the treadmill, but admittedly, the cardio option in Y!F is more fun (right now) than the monotony of the treadmill.

Have you gotten your rewards yet?

I do it in the middle of my living room on a small area rug. Basically if you can do two squats to your left and back again to your right you've got enough space.

I do a lot of squats, kicks, lunges, jumping jacks, sit ups, plank, a lot of various hand dumbbell exercises... most of what is in the Strength Training tab here.

that actually sounds cool, ive heard of another one called Kinetics, i wanted to try that one too, but all of our systems are in our spare room and its very small. What types of things does a normal workout make you do, for example how much space do you need?

I've been doing it since the beginning of December. Basically it's a video game (PlayStation, XBox, PC) that is a virtual personal trainer - her name is Maya. Maya takes you through some initial tests (like resting heart rate, number of sit-ups, push ups, squats, jumping jacks, and working heart rate) to get your ability level. Then the game creates a workout based on your results. You can choose to focus on upper body, core, lower body, flexibility or cardio at each workout. As you advance you unlock insentives along the way, like new music and new workout locations. And every so often Maya retests you to make sure the workouts are right for you. It's completely awesome, and it changes which is so unlike any other workout DVD.

My doctor recommended tae bo but I just don't think I am that coordinated yet, I don't belong to gym either 1 because of the cost and 2 because I have a 10 month old at home at it would be too much hassle to try and arrange times when I could go and I know me and I wouldn't I have the ball too and resistance bands want to get some weights and a step.

I have Yourself Fitness! I totally LOVE it! I still have more to unlock, one song and one location. What about you? I just got a ball so I am looking forward to that, but have had handweights in the past.

Hi, Mistry Angel.
I do all my exercises at home in my bedroom, as I cannot afford to go to a gym. My exercise equipment consists of 2 x 1.5kg dumbbells (buyng heavier one's on Saturday), an exercise ball, resistance bands and a Heat Tae Bo dvd.
I must say I've always hated exercises, but since I started liking Westlife, I am using some of their music for my fitness exercises and the more "mellow" songs for my strength exercises.
I've also incorporated relaxing and meditation into my days when I'm supposed to rest and that also helps to get your mind off of "dieting"

Regards
