Your calling it hunger but is it? what are you "hungry" for?
sometimes when one is hungry it can mean that you are not getting enough minerals or vitamins that sertain foods will give you, thus it triggers a form of hunger or craving.
Thinking about what food or foods you are wanting to eat might well help you to get in the right foods to help ease the hunger pangs.

I can't count the number of times I had some sort of hunger pain in my stomach. It's a common thing we all go through. Since you are drinking a sufficient amount of water (hopefully at least 8-8 oz. glasses/day) then I suggest celery sticks stuffed w/peanut butter, carrot sticks dipped in plain yogurt, or a piece of fruit to tie you over until your next meal.
I also think about how far I've come on my journey and then realize I don't want to lose any ground. I'm sure others will chime in a give you more good suggestions.

I have two suggestions. The first is to eat more vegetables. They really do help fill you up. The second is to make sure that you are getting enough protein. You'll feel full longer.

| I know it is pefectly normal to feel hungry when starting a dietary plan, but knowing this does little or nothing for my belly. Iused to eat less weigh less and was content and satisfied however I started increasing my portions when I got into a stable happy relationship about 5 years ago and along with the pounds came a big appetite When I serve myself 1 portion according to serving sizes on the package it looks like a meal for a toddler.So consequently I'm satisfied for an hour or two then hungry again and stay that way till the next meal.Yesterday I consumed 1600 calories and woke up starving. I'm drinking my water but I fear I may give in to the hunger more than just a sweet or salty craving, Any suggestions
