Sounds like a nice product. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Thanks, I'll have to check out Oxygen again. I previously read it but it was a a time when I was not committed to my weight loss. I am a subscriber to Fitness too.

I've been a subscriber to that magazine for a couple years now and it is a good one. Also check out Oxygen.

Good afternoon everyone! I am not a big promoter of many things but when I come across something, whether I've tried it or plan to try it, I always want to share...
In the November 2006 issue of Women's Health I am reading an article on weight loss (page 88) "weapons of mass reduction." The article appears in this particular issue and was written by Rory Evans.
First let me say that I have never read this magazine before but can't wait to subscribe. This particular issue seems to obtain some MUST-HAVE and MUCH NEEDED information.
Product: Salter 1450 Nutri-Weigh Dietary Computer Scale ($100, salterhousewares.com). Sleek and the color of brushed nickel, the Salter looks more like a piece of high-end Bang & Olufsen audio equipment than a mesauring device for slabs of tuna. It's preprogrammed with more than 1,400 different foods and displays their nutritional value on an LCD panel. When I grabbed a small apple and popped it on the scale, it gave me a list of possibilities: Apple stewed? Apple with sugar? Apple with skin? I entered the info and the little computer spat out the apple's weight, calories, protein, carbs, sugars, fat (including saturated fat), fiber, sodium and cholesterol. There's no fooling yourself about how much you're eating when you've got this baby.
I hope this is not copyright infringement!
I plan to purchase this within the next few weeks and will post when I have tested it out.
