Sorry to here about your loss and also congrates to you on the new baby.
I lost my baby at 36 weeks Dh and I was almost there and we were going to have a new baby. He came out still born it was so hard. I want to try again but the dr told me 3 months and the other dr told me 6 mouths and that will be in January.

| I got pregnant 6 or 7 weeks after misscarrying 2X and it resulted in healthy children. Good luck. Most of the time it will not happen again. Enjoy!

| Thanks all. I guess I am really just scared hoping it's safe for the baby so that all goes well. I don't know if I could go through all that again so soon. I just want my little peanut to be safe and my son to be a big brother. Regardless, I have 3 babies. And I love them all.

Mine told me the same thing (after 1st period). It took me about 8 months to get pregnant again. And to ease my mind they did an early ultrasound at 7-8 weeks.
I can tell you what happened to my mom about 30 years ago. She said she had some spotting, and they told her to keep record of what happend. Then after a couple months of tracking she went back and everything was still fine. But something still didn't seem right. They sent her for an ultrasound (just came out) and they figured she had miscarried and got pregnant again right away. Instead of being 5 months pregnant she was only 3 months. And my brother just turned 30 this year. So it can happen right away.

| I had a D&C at 10 weeks (missed miscarraige) On August 2nd, 2006 and all three OBs I talked to said that I could get pregnant "after my next normal period."

Congrats,
I also had a miscarriage last year, so I know where you are coming from. My doc told me that I could start trying at any time, I would call your doc and see if you can have an ultra sound I know my doc does it after 6- 8 weeks just to make sure that things are going in the right direction this time.

| I can't logon to BabyFit right now but I figured someone would be able to help me out. I just had a miscarriage on 14 September and found out that I am 3 weeks prego. I don't know how safe it is to get pregnant within 6 or 7 weeks of a m/c. Any input, please?
