I am also new, and have kids that made me fat, lol. I love my babies, but hate this extra weight. My aunt and mom joined me on here, and we love it, we made a team and are competing up to 1000 pts, whoever gets there first the others have to take to a movie. I am very excited because my aunt was not motivated before and I love her and worry about her health. My mom is prediabetic and I am considered obese by the bmi, so I want to get in a healthy state before I get diabetes. I eat a lot infront of the tv and should stop doing that. Thanks for your post. Made me think about the tv.

I just joined SP recently. And I am also married and have three children...three little girls. I became very overweight after having my second daughter and have been battling the bulge every since then :(

My biggest problem is when things around me become chaotic, so does my eating...This is obviously a hinderance to my losing weight since my life is FULLLLLLL of chaos LOL...I'm sure you can relate!

Anyway, last night, I realized just HOW MUCH eating I do while standing up, walking, running, going up the stairs, standing at the counter preparing my children's meals, blah blah blah! Sooooo...today...I made a promise to myself that -- from now on -- I will not eat or drink standing up. What a little "challenge" but actually very difficult for me and my lifestyle :(

So far, today, everything I've eaten is so much more satisfying...and I hope that is going to help me to eat less...Let's see what happens! :)

I am glad you came to the site. I have been with SP for over 1 year now. and am just getting back into it after having my second son 3 months ago. You can do this and it will take some time.
I am on an easy challenge on the challenge board if you want to join. It's called OUR thanksgiving day challenge. We have one for every holiday. We enter our current weight, and enter a goal weight to be by that day. We enter weight weekly and support each other to reach our goals. It helps me stay on track before I get too far off before I real myself back in.

What a day this is. Having to deal with my three kids and having a husband who just wants to play his games... I just started my program and pray that i get to where i want to be. I use to be small before i had my first child. I want to lose alot but doesn't matter if i get back to those clothes, just as long as i am at a healthy weight and am happy for my self.. My friend introduced me to this and I thank her for that. I am really into this program.. Wish you all luck in your progress to a better you......
