thanx ironthunder for writing that. I to dilute the juice-i didnt at first until my mum told me how bad all the sugar is in some of them. My girls are more hungry in the mornings to lunch time instead of night time. Do u make your own tomato soup of use from a can?

| changing now that I am eating right. I don't buy them "their" snacks and "my" snacks anymore. They are learning to eat the right way too.

My daughter is 2. On a typical day she'd eat something like...
breakfast: 1 package of sugar reduced instant oatmeal, a banana, yogart and some "juice"
snack: grapes, "juice"
lunch: grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, milk
snack: "juice" and crackers
dinner: Whatever the family is having, for example spagettii, chili, stew etc. and "juice"
I put juice in quotes because although we call it juice it's really 4 parts water, one part juice. My daughter always starts the day really hungry and is less so later on so that why I feed her the huge breakfast.

I would like to know what ur kids are having for brekkie,lunch,dinner and snacks in 1 day. How do u work out what u will give them for each meal? Do u make sure u give them atleast the recommended amounts of each food group every day? thanx,deb
