| Don't stop coming to SP. You can still work on being healthy while you go through this. One of the ladies in a team I'm on is also pregnant. Congrats, but continue your circle of support it will help you as you go through the process and will make it easier to get back into the swing of things when it's time.

| I was 20 lbs heavier then I am now when I got pregnant with my daughter. I did a lot of reading and from what I've read it's easier not to gain extra weight if you're already heavy. You're body wants to get to a certain % body fat while preganant if you're already over that you're body won't pack it on as quickly. Just concentrate on eating good nutrious food to feed you and your baby. Congradulations!

Use your same name and passcode as SP to enter www.babyfit.com. I was there for a little while to get a a number for calorie range. But I liked SP's tracker better. SO I set up my SP goals for maintenance mode (same start weight and end weight) But then tried to keep my calories at 2000, and walked once or twice a week at lunch. I gained about 37-40 LBS. And even though I didn't loose ALL of it by my 6 week appointment I was able to still put the same pants on when I was 159.
Try to eat lots of fruits and veggies, and your calcium too. I was lucky with my first, after about 4-5 bites I was feeling slightly sick. Beckie

Well, I really can't call it bad news. I can't. But...
I got started on SparkPeople about a mont ago. I've lost 8 lbs! I've been doing so well and was so excited to continue...
But I think I'm going to have to take a break. I was "late" and figured it was just lateness because I've been really irregular lately... but finally tested this morning and...
It was POSITIVE!! I'm gonna have another baby! This is the #3 I was trying to get into shape for. :) Ooops.
So I guess I won't be trying to lose weight for a while. But do any of you have any tips on gaining as little weight as possible while pregnant?
I did really good with my first - I started out overweight and only gained 16 lbs, but I'm not sure how I did it because I ate horribly and didn't exercise. Then I thought I'd do great with my second - I had lost enough weight to be within sight of "normal" for my height, was exercising regularly and used to eating healthy (which I felt like I continued through the pregnancy) but I gained 43 lbs! So, tips, tricks, hints, encouragement?
Thanks!
Oh and yeah... I'm THRILLED. Seriously. :) :) :)
