I have a variety of things that I make my man and give them to him in different combos so he doesnt get bored:

-Roast beef/ham/turkey/tuna/salmon on whole wheat (usually 2 sandwiches fill him)
-a couple of hard boiled eggs
-usually 3 mozzarella skim cheese strings
- bag of trailmix
- a sleeve of whole wheat crackers and cheese cut up
-chewy granola bars
-diet pepsi and water bottles
-4 yogurts
-apples

He works night so sometimes I am eating alone but I will make his portion as if he is there and have it ready for his lunch, so eh can heat it in a microwave - I've made him casserole dishes with cream of mushroom soup and either chicken/ground beef, pasta/rice and frozen veggies

My DH too doesnt have a micro at work I usually pack him a yogurt, some sort of fruit for the morning wither grapes, apples exc. for his lunch I cut up a chicken on sunday and put it in a big ziploc bag in the fridge then in the mornings I put the chicken pieces on some wheat bread and make his sandwitch that way instead of buying delimeat. Usually will through in either carrots, wheat thins, applesauce, hard boiled eggs or salad too to go with .

I find portion control is the key for my BF. If he's in a hurry he'll grab a box of crackers or whatever's on hand. I try to have his lunch packed the night before so it's ready for him.

Pitas and wraps are a good way to change up a regular sandwich. Lowfat portioned crackers, low-fat cheese, lunch meat, cottage cheese, yogurt and trail mix are all pretty good choices. To limit BF's soda intake I try to send 1 diet soda and a bottle of water that he can refill.

If you don't have a microwave on hand, a thermos would be handy for bringing healthy versions of soup, stew and chili. Substitute a multigrain roll for a regular one!

I usually pack my husband a sandwich, fruit, nuts, chips with 0g trans fat, and maybe some ff pudding. He gets tired of the same thing all the time, so I try to switch it up some. He's a FedEx contractor, so he doesn't have a microwave or anything like that either. Just a lunch box and an ice pack.

I have a double whammy of a problem. My husband is trying to lose weight and has very high cholesterol, so I really have to be careful what he eats. He is also a meat eater and thinks he HAS to have meat at every meal. Any good suggestions for these problems would be appreciated.

Husband is truck driver, so I know how that goes...no microwave, no stove, only his little cooler with an ice pack. He has a hard time with it too. Works 14 hour days too!

I send DH a large baked potato w/ ff sour cream mixed with salsa and some shredded cheddar cheese. He can nuke the potato at work (If you nuke them in a vented plastic bag, they won't dry out). He said it was super filling and really good.

I put the fat free sour cream, salsa and shredded cheese in a snack size baggie (and squeezed it so it would be well mixed) so he could refrigerate it. Then all he had to do was snip off the corner and squeeze it on to the potato.

I usually pack PB sandwhich, yogurt or pudding, some type of fruit, and chips/crackers without trans fat.
Not sure how healthy this is, but it does usually fill him up.
