Actually I have found that drinking water and stretching have helped with my cramping. I have suffered all my life with a period that would lay me out for a good three days with just cramping. When I started drinking water I noticed that I wasn't so bloated with water retention. And then about 3 years ago a friend of mine told to do cat stretches. Get on all 4 and stretch your back. It seems to help me. Also try to get caffiene intake down.
Hope this helps.

Go see your doctor! A friend of mine had horrible cramps all her life and when she tried to conceive, found out it was endometriosis. You would hate to find that out when it was too late to fix, like she did. You will want to rule that out for sure.

I hear you about not wanting to take drugs/hormones. I am the same way.

I went off my birth control about 1 year ago (although we will not be "trying" until next year) I thought it would be better to be more natural, and stop putting medication/hormones into my body.
But for the past year my PMS/cramps/water retention has been horrific. I have currently been suffering with cramps, bloating, nausea due to PMS for 2 weeks. It is starting to interfer with my life. I was thinking of calling my Dr. tomorrow to get back on B.C. until next year when we would like to start our family. But I thought I'd ask if anyone here, has solved their PMS in another (possibly more natural) way.

Thank you in advance
