| whenever you get the chance...working out is something that you need to try to do regularly and at the same time if possible but this is not always a possibility so do it whenever you can.

| I have been fitting it in whenever possible after class, after work, or in the morning. Depends on the day.

| I done my strength training when my son naps. I sometimes do cardio then too, but most of the time we go for walks after supper when it is cooler outside.

| I should try the 10 minutes here and there thing though I don't really feel that I am accomplishing much unless I do my entire workout together. I have scheduled my exercises on days I am not pulling a 12 hour shift at work or school...see how that goes.

CUTIE80002 Sounds like you have a lack of sleep too.
Well the best time to work out when kids are at school in front of tv I use my manual treadmill or after kids go to bed. If to tired just do 5 minutes is better than nothing.

| I am going to try that working out in the morning the only hard part for me is my day starts at 5 sometimes and getting up at 4:30 doesn't seem very appealing but I am going to give it a shot. I also have the problem that the treadmill wakes up my girls so that is not always a good thing. Any suggestions on some quiet cardio exercises?

The best time to work out is in the morning. First thing. For the first week or so you feel bad, but as you get better the better you will feel at the end of the day.

This is a tough question I think we're all dealing with. I have a 3 year old and a 4 month old and finding time feels like it's next to impossible.
I have forced my hubbie at least once a week to keep the kids occupied while I go for a bike ride. Other times I just take the kids for a walk, the 3 yr old in the stroller and the younger one in the snugli.
Sometimes I even put the tae bo DVD on and have the 3 yr old work out with me while the other one is in his exersaucer.
Make time for exercise. We moms REALLY need it. It is so important for us to be able to keep up with our little ones.

Since my daugher is only 11 months right now, I work out during her naps. On the days that I work (I clean houses 2-3 days/week) I usually take her for a long stroller ride and then before bed I maybe do a 15 minute Walk Away The Pounds video.
I would suggest maybe getting up 1/2 hour earlier to get in some kind of work out in.... a walk outside or a video, etc.
Good luck

| For me I find I am much more likely to work out if I do it right after I drop my older one off at school. I used to do it right after breakfast. When I just had the one, he'd eat breakfast in the stroller.

I have a two year old daughter . Im so tired when I get done with school , cleaning and cooking that I tend to blow off working out . If any one could tell me some ideas about what works for them it would be great . Thanks Rebekah
