Hard when our kids are sick. My 15 year old son had th stomach flu. He was in the bathroom calling me in to help him. Then he wanted to spend the rest of the day cuddling on the couch. Even the older ones still want to be loved.

One of my kids had to get a cavity filled so they gave him laughing gas. On the way home he said "I look like a man" "I feel like a man." He was only 4 at the time. He even said it in a deep voice.

This happened this summer, at a busy tourist info pitstop...as told to me by my husband.

My 4 year old son had to pee, so I sent him into the mens with Dad trailing behind. Marcus marches up to a urinal, currently being used by another person, pulls his pants down to his ankles, starts to pee and announces loudly... "I'm a man now, just like you guys!!" The shared user of the urinal was smiling and my husband doubled over laughing at the door.

Go figure when the 'little man' is old enough not to be supervised in the woman's bathroom by Mommy. LOL!

One of my friends woke up to a 6 year old daughter covered in permament marker. To make matter worst the little girl was a flower girl for her uncle's wedding that day.

what hasn't my son Aidan done .
Let's start out by coloring all over the walls with green crayon right before company came over. Let's not forget when he emptied an entire fabreze bottle on himself and his little brother ( they thought that was the greatest ).
I think the cutest thing my son does is when he get's up and shakes his bottom dancing in the living room or when he looks up at me and says, " Mom, your my hero"!!! Oh the things kids do :)

My son who is 2 years old loves to help me clean up the house, while mopping the floors i always give him the swifer duster just to play with but yesterday he decided to dip it into the water and continue to help mom. While he was doing this he was dancing and singing help help help mommie.

A couple of days ago, my three year old woke up during the night and thought it'd be a good time to color...all over himself. He looked all sweet, innocent and clean when I went to bed at 11 o'clock and got up in the morning with half of his face and body covered in black marker. He looked like one of those movie characters that are half robot and half human. And still...the inside of his belly button is black, I just can't get it to wash out!

Love hearing all the stories. I used to babysit my niece when she was 4. I had her take a nap in my room. She decorated the walls with feminie products. She is now 16 and blushes when I tell her what she did.

I have 2 daughters (11, 4). The youngest is always getting into something. One Thanksgiving a few years ago while I was cooking she rubbed a whole stick of butter on her body (she loves moisterizer and told me her skin was dry). Just yesterday she went to the bathroom. When I checked on her she was washing her own hair in the sink. This is a girl that cries when a drop of water in her eyes. The amazing thing was she did a great job, no tears, and there was less water on the floor than when she takes a bath.

I love it, finally a place to hear all the other POW's stories...lol. Our "nap" time is kinda the same. When I get my son Draven (16 mo.) asleep, my 4 yr Jasmyne makes a bed on the floor and picks out a Disney movie. I tell her to wake me up when its over, and I doze on the couch. Well, silly me, I told her she could color if she was quiet, one day. I woke up to marker tatoos and stickers all over my face and arms and feet. Needless to say, the art box isn't allowed in the living room anymore...lol. Actually, I am just happy it wasnt the walls.

I hit lucky with my son. When he was 4 I got pregnant with my daughter. I am not a healthy pregnant person. I get very tired all the time and generally feel pretty yucky. I worried about what would happen if I didn't get a nap and I worried if I took a nap what he would get into. I finally solved the problem. I would set out a glass of juice and a few cookies or crackers, turn the boob tube onto Cartoon Network and he would flop on the loveseat while I napped on the couch. Lucky for me, he stayed on the loveseat and I had a second healthy baby.

One time I fell asleep on the living room floor. I woke up to a kitchen floor with flour and water all over it. And four very happy and dirty kids.

So glad to see I am not the only one with this problem.
I to have a "not me" he or she is grounded until they are 39. lol
And yes having 7 kids people have asked me if I am nuts. There are 7 days in a week, so I spend one hour everyday with each child. Love them even if they make me nuts. lol

I still have not figured out how the ketchup got on the ceiling in the living room of all places but hey, I figure it just was one of my extra kids, either Not Me or Nobody. I have two kids, a boy of 13 and a girl of 9.

Just yesterday my 13 year old asked me to skip with him! Talk about crazy, but I did it and we laughed while doing it.

Gotta love our crazy kids.

Wow, I don't remember registering under another name and posting about my life..........

LOL!

I have 7 kids and my husband is constantly going nuts over finding food stuck to the walls in odd places!!

I also loved Erma Bombeck's writings. I was very saddened by her death.

How many/ages/genders do you have? My oldest doesn't live at home anymore (long story), but 6 in the house is still a lot!

I have:
Christopher, 18 (as of 9/12.... close enough)
Patrick, 15
Justin, 12 (13 on 10/01)
Melissa, 11
Sarah, 10 (as of today, 8/15!!)
Molly, 6 (7 on 10/22)
Michael, 16.5 months (3/31/05)

I do intend to have at least one more, but not until I get in better shape. I go insane half the time, but I wouldn't trade my 7 blessings for a less stressful, more money kind of life.

Anyway, its nice to meet another Mom of Many (or as others call us... nutcases!! LOL!).

Do not know if anyone else has this. I have 7 kids so what happens here tends to multiply. I have found jelly and cereal and other weird food items stuck to my walls. This board is to laugh at the funny things our kids do. Kind of like Erma Bonbeck (sp?) did.
