i don't have any children yet (one coming in March), but my mom is a special needs teacher, and she has seen kids with all different kinds of needs. mental, emotional, physical, and i only have utmost respect for parents who do all that needs to be done with special needs kids, and still take care of everything else.

Good luck! I hope you find better support than me!

I don't mean ADHD, or autism or DD, I know there are threads for those groups (my 20yo is MRDD). But my 17 yo has depression and sleep apnea and a phase delay and it is so hard and draining to stay on top of all his needs. Did he use the cpap, does it need to be cleaned, did he use the light book, take his meds, make appt for ENT, med check, sleep doc.... it seems like it never ends. Poor kid, doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot better either.

Anyone else have high needs kids who kinda fall through the cracks?
