I plan my weekends to be ultra busy. We get lots of activities in, that include exercising. And I tell everyone about them, so I can't back out. On a Friday night, or Saturday morning, I prepare the food that we will need for our activities, so that way I don't buy food. Oh, and if we are going out, I take minimal money with me, so again, I can't buy food.

Well, my meal planning gets extra detailed for weekends. I even post it on my fridge so that if I go to the fridge my plans are staring at me. Exercising first thing in the morning is a great idea. It might get you on a roll for the day, and even if it doesn't it's much much better than not exercising.
Something else I do, my husband and I have a household rule: Aside from special circumstances we only go out 1 night a weekend. If I go out with friends Fri night to have a few drinks and hang out, I can't go out to eat Sat night. Not only is it better to only find myself in one sticky situation per weekend, it's also nice on the wallet. Good Luck!!

I always start Saturday morning out with the best of intentions, but then by noon intentions are out the window.
Hindsight being what it is, I believe what I need to start doing is exercising first thing in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. Even if it doesn't set me up for thinking more healthily during the day - at least I'll have burned extra calories from the get-go. LOL
Does anyone have any weekend diet strategies they can share?
