I'm working on breaking my own streak. 8 days and counting. So bring it on.

Piccalo, that motivation buzz is to be treasured and nurtured!! Great work on the 2.5 pounds. That's 2.5 pounds you're never going to see again - right?
Here's a tip when you feel like stopping at the take-out.....
Warning - gross image follows...
I worked in a hospital in Western Australia for a time where they did cosmetic procedures; Once i saw a liposuction procedure being performed and I remember seeing the container full of fat cells they had sucked out of this guy's gut. It was beige and gooey and bloody and I imprinted that image on my brain and now - every time I feel like a big Mac, I superimpose that image over the menu image of the burger.!! Like I said, it's a gross image - but it works for me.
Anyway, I'll be here to give you Sh*t if you don't keep up with the exercise mister. As for breaking Russ's streak ... well, that sounds like fighting talk! I tried, but a dodgy back stopped me, but as soon as I'm fit I'll be throwing my hat in the ring again.
Keep that motivation up mate, I want to see daily reports!!.

That's great! It's amazing what those first couple of pounds can do to your motivation. Keep up the good work and let us know how you're doing!
I lost over 4 pounds the first two weeks and my nutrition has been much better. I fell off the horse a bit yesterday since I went on a golf outing with my buddies. 3 beers, some hot dogs and pizza slices later... I feel pretty guilty. But I did burn calories playing 18 holes of golf and lightly swimming afterwards. I have another party to go to tonight with my wife. I will try to be good... bottle waters and portion control. I think they'll have volleyball too.
Good luck!

So today, at the urging of my girlfriend, I stepped on the scale at the gym, and saw I had lost two pounds, acctually nearly two and a half, but I didnt worry about the half, I figure I'll simply add the whole pounds, not the halfs!
So I am all fired up now! I see the scale moving, and I'm more motivated than ever! Also, on the way to work, I came INCREDIBLY close to stopping by cook out (one of, if not my very favorite fast food place) but I managed to keep the willpower to not stop, and instead waited till I got to work and had an orange!
I want you guys to give me sh*t if I break my diet/dont exercise. I've decided that I'm gonna try and beat Russ's streak of 20 days, with at least 1 whole month (AND LONGER!) of a workout streak. So far I'm at 1 day (not much I know) and I'm gonna keep at it!
