What you may want to check is to see if there are any Drive-In's in your area (I know they are a dying breed, but there are still a some out there) When ever possible that is where I go. I could bring my own stuff, (Pop, Snacks, etc.) and believe it or not I see people pull grills out of the back of their cars and have a 'Tailgate Party'

Granted there are the people that go on a date there and not actually see the movie. But they sorta keep to themselfs (No pun intented.)

A friend of mine once smuggled in a box of fried chicken...although I don't recommend that if your:

A. On a diet
B. Have an aversion to having chicken grease all over your body
C. Don't want to walk around the next week smelling like fried chicken goodness

We always bring in our own food and water. I have in the past brought in taco bell and burger king. I never had a problem, I just dont advertise that I have snacks. Veggies are good. The apple I had was kinda noisy. Good luck

I always eat before I go to the movies or just wait till after to go somewhere else to eat.

I end up with better food for less money with the way movies price gouge on thier food and drinks....

You're not gonna like it, but when I've dieted before, I've taken some fruits/veggies fresh outta the fridge that aren't bad alone. Pickles, Carrots, Apple slices, banana, etc. You could also try granola, pop tarts (healthier ones) slim fast bars, healthy snacks (kinda like the little things people put in their kids lunch boxes...only healthier items)

It's no buttery popcorn and large soda...but you wont grow another chin eating them either.

I can't go to the movies without stocking up large on popcorn, candy, soda etc. Somehow, watching a movie isn't the same without something to eat. My local cinema kicked me out once for bringing my own food (they said the barbeque smoke annoyed the other patrons )

So, what do you guys do when you go to the movies? Some tips for healthy, low-cal cinema snacking please.
