OMG, Jacki, my daughter and your son could be twins separated at birth. We are going through the same phase. She has stopped eating foods she used to enjoy. She is very stubborn about it. She has gone to bed hungry a few times, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She keeps saying she will like more foods when she is 4. That is Aug. 7th, so we shall see how that goes!

I am a preschool teacher and eat with little ones everyday. Every year we come across one that is very picky and won't eat anything. We have a one taste rule where we tell them they have to try one bite of everything, even when we know they don't like it. It might seem kinda mean when you know your child is getting nothing to eat that day, but if he is hungry he will eat, and once he knows you are going to stick with it,sooner or later he will start to eat for you. If he does not like what you are having ask him to try one bite of everything before he can get away from the table( make him stay there until you are done as a family eating) then save his plate, if he gets hungry he will eat it, if he knows you will make him something else he won't. Good luck! It will get better I promise as long as you stick to your guns

how old is your little boy? i suggest that if he doesn't eat what you make, he doesn't eat at all. he will get hungry enough to start eating your food. good luck.

i need so much help with my little boy . he only likes noodles he will eat the hamburgers at mcdonalds but if i make them he wont eat them. im glad he does like brats . hopefully someday he will eat what i make for our family. jacki
