| I dread the weekends. I seem to not keep track of what I am eating because I am always busy. eating out doesn't help either.

Sounds like many of us struggle with our weekends! I know I do. For me, weekends are times when we usually go out to eat and/or look for "quick&easy" meals. I remember there was an article I read about this here on SparkPeople, and I believe it can still be found in the "motivation and goals" section in the resource center. Goofing-up on weekend is NOT rare, so hopefully we will find LOTS of support on this subject.

Hi, Do you know why you are overeating on the weekends?
One thing I learned in weight watchers was to reframe - take the picture which is you eating more on the weekend, and figure out why, what is the sitaution that causes you to eat more - is it convinience becuase you are on the go, is it ease because you want to relax with the family, or is it another reason like maybe you are bored? During the week it's usually easier to have a schedule so eating and drinking your 8 glasses a day are easier because you can structure them to your routine - weekends can screw that up.
Once you can figure out what the picture is you can reframe it - find a way to look at the situation differently and it should help you find ways to deal with it.
I know that we like to do things so we're going and unless I think about it ahead of time, I am usually unprepared when it comes to food choices. either I have not packed good foods for us to eat, but more than likely we just eat out. It's something i'm going to work on too!

| feel ya there! my hubby is the worst eater and won't eat a thing I cook. So I stoke up on healthy frozen dinners and lots of fruits/veggies and hope for the best!

| I use to be like that oh gosh do I Identify. In fact I would work hard all week and then blow it on the weekends. It was not the weekend that was the problem it was my planning. Once I started logging in everything I ate before I ate it that changed my entire life. I wish you well.

| I'm kind of in the same boat. I feel I have worked hard all week and I am pooped out watching what I eat, but if you make sure you have everything stocked ready for the weekend I find it easier. It seems like I just don't want to make the effort to make things on the weekend. Don't Monday for shopping make sure you get things by Friday. Good luck.

I started the program a month ago. First week and half I didnt alot of attention to it. Now I am doing it everyday. My new problem is that on the weekends I seem to go over. I give myself the pep talk. I give myself a visual of how I want the day to be but I find myself eating more bad food like pizza and sweets. I am looking to close to the problem to see the solution. HELP!!
