It is great to see the family eating healthy, isn't it. My hubby wants to lose now, too. He is ready for that lifestyle change, more exercise and a happier me because he is doing something for himself.

Today is my first day at stage 2! I'm ready, have to go get some fresh veggies and fruit, as we have been away for 2 days.

Wow, it sounds like your family is getting the right idea. Keep up the good work. I have been changing the salads that I serve to keep my teenagers interested. Romaine with almonds, raspberries and raspberry vinagrette. Sometimes baby spinach with a new honey/lime dressing and some walnuts thrown in. It seems to be working.
Good luck with your meal planning.

I am so proud of myself. Not to brag but since I have started this plan, I have lost alomost 10 pounds, 2 1/4 inch off my waist 1 3/4 off my hips, and an inch off my neck. My thighs have gotten smaller, my arms are looking better, and my calfs are getting their old shape back. I have the energy to burn now, so that I can spend more time playing with my son. I am also very proud of my family!! i have to say that for some time we had been in a fast food slump...working parents no time it was quick and easy...well it took a long time for me to get them into eating a vegetable a day BUT now they love them, and the proof is....I made a pork roast with roasted vegetables, I made more vegetables than usual so that I could eat them for lunch for a few days....well I made a whole large square cake pan full of veggies, and I even had to put the pork roast in another pan there were so many and WELL, I only had enought vegetables left over for one lunch. because my husband and my son had eaten a full serving, my husband took some to work for his lunch, and I had a whole serving also....as for the pork roast, I don't think I have ever seen any "meat" dish leftovers before that night...my little healthy guys, very proud!!!! My son would count his carrots and told me he didn't have enough...almost brought tears to my eyes!!
I am ver excited to be in the second stage and I am going to stick with this I love I hope that everyone here in the fast break stage can read this and that it will help them to stick with it too!!!!
much luck!!!
Norma
