I'm glad I stumbled across this topic. I have been thinking about this very thing for a few days now. I'm not sure when I'm supposed to switch but I assume spark will make me aware of that when it comes up. Thanks to all of you for the great advice on how to handle "the switch"!

stage 2 isn't much different than one...i suggest trying it and switching back to one if you don't like it

Yes, just tell Spark you want to stay in your current stage. I think the email they send out gives you a choice.

Stage II isn't hard. It's just refining what you have already been doing.

(Also, if Stage II gets to be too much, you can move back to Stage I)

It sounds like you are ready, Mike. I just moved to Stage 2 also. The only difference I see is they give you ways to build good habits and a different set of action steps to take. Don't be unsure. You can do this! We both can!

Tomorrow I'll have been on SparkDiet for two weeks. I've had some successes and failures. I've spotted alcohol on the weekends as my biggest challenge (especially on holiday weekends). I'm trying to keep in mind the strategies of the Fastbreak - you're starting off slow, just giving it a try, keeping positive, learning about the website, your goals and your limitations. Now I'm about to move to Stage 2 and I'm worried things will get really tough all of a sudden and I won't be able to stick with it. This trial stage has been deceptively easy for me, and i'm worried that extreme difficulties are ahead. Who has recently moved to Stage 2? Any tips for making the transition? Any advice to save me from my fears and insecurities?
