Just pamper him for a day or so and tell him how much you love him and appreciate him for having this done.
Oh...and make him his favorite dinner.

I hope all goes well with your husband's procedure. From what I know, it will depend on the doctor and your husband on how he reacts to the healing. I have friends that have recently had this done and at most it was two days on the couch and an ice pack (or bag of frozen peas) on hand. My girlfriend made sure her husband had all his favorite movies to watch during his downtime and they had wings for dinner (his favorite) two nights in a row!!

Good luck!

Hi Natalie!
I don't have any experience with this, although I did have a hysterectomy in Dec. I would say allow him to rest in a quiet environment if possible.
My DH did an Awesome job with our little ones and taking over my household chores! And I really appreciated it.

I hope your DH has a quick and healthy recovery!

I know I'm more excited than DH is that he's getting "fixed". Any suggestions on how to make the recovery better for him?

Thanks,
Natalie
