A member of another group forum that I am a member has just started a new group called "Beauty for Ashes" and is extending an open invitation to the men and women who may be married to a alcoholic or drug abuser. She knows that it is not easy because she has been married to one now for sixteen years. And sometimes she eats because she feels frustrated.
Even though my spouse is not an alcoholic or drug abuser, I felt that I would like to be a part of this group so that I may be able to offer an encouraging word. If any of you have a spouse who is an abuser (alcoholic or drugs) or if you would just like to offer your words or thoughts of encouragement, I ask that you join and become a supporter for those who are. God bless!

| Thinking you recognize someone isn't all that bad. I moved down to San Diego for college and I look like this guy everybody seems to have gone to high school with. I could be at the store, in a mall and somebody will walk up to me and say "Did you go to Orange Glen High"? and I'll have to say no. At least if I'm going to look like the guy he was apparently pretty nice. Everybody seems to like him a lot!

Ah well.. I'm pretty notorious for noticing resemblances in people that don't exist..
My parents make fun of me because their neighbor has dark hair and a mustache, and everytime I see a guy with dark hair and a mustache, I say "That looks like Dave".. And 99% of the time it's not even close.. It's become a family joke.. Or should I say I'VE become a family joke.. ha..
Soooo I guess I'll stick with "I'm nuts".

| Well, I kind of see the resemblence but if you bring him up on VH1's site and watch him on V spot, they're not that close.

Yeah, I know who you're talking about. His name is Patrice O'Neal. He does some bits for Best Week Ever too sometimes. He's funny
As far as being nuts, I can't say anything about that, you know. I haven't been around you that much. But you seem harmless.

| The comedian who hosts "Web Junk" where they show funny clips from the internet? His name is Patrice something.. Anywhooo... Every time I come into the guys lounge I see that picture up there (to the right, those 2 guys smiling at you), and I can't help but think, "Damn, that SO looks like that fat black guy from VH1".. So.. uh.. anyone else see it??
