| reserving some to baste with right before serving is the best way to retain the flavor of the sesame.

Hmmm... what a shame and it sounded really good!
Maybe the solution is to reserve some of the liquid before marinating for basting, or take the leftover marinade and boil it (to eliminate possiblity of salmonella etc...) and then baste with that liquid. I would think if done toward the end, you'd get more flavor.
Thanks for letting us know. I want to try this recipe, maybe this weekend.

I made this chicken over the holiday and was a little disappointed. Even though I marinated it overnight the chicken didn’t really keep any of the sesame flavor after having been cooked, just tasted like baked chicken
Dont know what to do differently or add, but it is missing somthing

| Sounds wonderful! I've been buying the chicken tenderloins too (I think that is what they are calling them). The price is similar to the frozen breasts, but they are mostly in 2oz strips, which makes it easy to measure!

| Wow AJ this sounds really yummy! I love Chinese food but don't have it very often. This is a great alternative to buffets! Thanks for the delicious ideas. I'll definitely be trying this one out soon!

Hey everyone!! I have an awesome recipe for sesame chicken that is just as good as a Chinese restaurant, but without all of the sodium and grease. This makes one serving, but it is super easy to double or triple.
8oz Chicken breast, boneless-skinless, cut into strips, (I found some at my grocery store that are already cut) 2 Tbsp Low sodium teriyaki sauce 1 Tbsp water 1 garlic clove, minced 1/8 tsp. ground ginger 1 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted Kabob skewers
1. For marinade, combine teriyaki sauce, water, garlic, and ginger. 2. Stir in chicken and let marinade for 20 minutes 3. Tread chicken, accordion-style, onto skewers 4. Place on broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from heat for about 3 minutes 5. Turn over and broil another 3-4 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. 6. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving
IT is soo good, and it is very simple to make. I actually had it for dinner tonight! Enjoy!
