| i wash the sheets and pillowcases once a week-on saturday. the blankets i sometimes do with the sheets. i guess it depends on what kind of mood i am in. this is great progress for me, as i used to change my sheets whenever the wind blew just right. meaning they were lucky to get washed once every six months! ew!!!

I wash the sheets and towels every Monday with fabric safe bleach on cold. I probably 'should' do them in hot but I want them to last longer. My dh has allergies and asthma so I also vacuum the mattress with the beater bar (the rug setting) to get up any dust mites. The rest of my house doesn't get near as much attention but this is one area I focus on.

When I'm not working 50-60 hours a week I do it weekly but the last month has been crazy and I think I only washed them once. Blah. I got ours done but have yet to change them. LOL
My dd's is getting done this weekend as I got a waterproof mattress pad to wash and put under them so I might as well wash her sheets and bedspread with it. She has newly potty learned and I will soon stop using the diapers/pull ups at night as she is dry the majority of mornings anyhow.

| Sheets and pillowcases weekly. Blankets and comforters as needed.

| My older son is allergic to dust mites, so the dr. told me to do this once a week, in VERY hot water. He and his brother sleep in the same room so I do both their beds once a week. It's wearing the comforters out though. I just bought a "luxury" comforter for my bed that has to be dry cleaned, so I wash the sheets and pillowcases on mine about every 3 weeks.
