Hey Michael, I'm the intruder on the Guy's Lounge. I pull fingers with the rest of 'em though, so don't worry.
My advice is pretty much like Chris' - follow the advice of the plan. I've been at it about a month now, and the things I started with in the first week or two are now second nature. I've only lost my first pound a couple of days ago, so you gotta stick with it. Don't be afraid of slipping either, just get back on the frickin horse!

Welcome! I've been doing SP for just over a month and my advice is read the articles - the "program" is easy to follow because it's really simple, track what you eat, work out and don't eat healthy food - tracking it works for me and it seems like a lot of the people.
