Don't get overwhelmed with everything - just go with the flow. I've got kids coming and going all day long. Believe me we have activities after school. Throw in day care kids and I'm nonstop moving all day.

Being overwhelmed takes up to much time - being organized and planning ahead is the only way my life can run. I keep this in mine with my kids and with weight loss.

A side note - if your tracking sodium, go to your food tracker page and then at the bottom is the PRINT TODAYS something . Click on this and you can see exactly how much sodium is in each food you eat.

HAVE FUN

Hi, Nysingle mom,Please don't get discouraged. What I love about SparkPeople is that no one hounds us. I am retired and have all the time in the world to do this and the hardest part to me is the message board, and people are very helpful. Every Journey Starts With A Single Step. This is exactly what SparkPeople gives us. Have a GOD day.

Hi,

Thanks for the instructions! I did that before but I wasn't sure if I could change those without having to start over. I'm not sure what my recommended amounts are but I went with the average.

I like what it says on your sparkpage.. I do things part time too! I'm a single mom of 1 older child.. and I'm already overwhelmed!

Go to Home page and click on CHANGE DIET GOALS. About the 3-4 or 5th page is a list of nutrients that you're already tracking , there is a drop down box listing more nutrients that can be tracked. This will give you a recommended range.

REMEMBER to click the box on first page to save original starting weight.

Is there a way to track sodium on the tracker? I thought I put it on there but don't see it. I seem to have a lot of sodium in packaged, frozen and jarred food.

I heard that if I have mildly low blood pressure than its ok to have some sodium or salt.

How do I know if it's too much?
