LOL, thanks Ron1234 I don't think I will let my wife take my measurements after all. You've lost 2.2 lbs a week. Thats great. Keep up the good work. Have a great day.

I don't dare give my wife a tape measure. She will figure out how much 12 inches really is. My lies in the bedroom will be over. Just trying to get a chuckle gents. It's been kind of frustrating for me though. I've been Sparking for 5 weeks and have only lost 11 lbs. but I have notice that I have to pull my britches up and thats a good thing.

I've noticed that about my pants to Chris. The measurements are the same or more, but I'm getting into smaller pants. I'm not sure if I have a stretchy measuring tape or not Matt. Its a green plastic tape measure. Maybe I need to let my wife take my measurements too, and see if she comes up with something different.

One of the biggest things people run in to is that they measure with a tape that "stretches". If the tape has any stretch at all ten it's hard to get a consistent measurement.

Something I've encountered is somehow seeing no change in measurements, yet pants that fit before are now far too big.

I probably should have had my wife take the measurements because I apparently am not measuring correctly.

Thanks Matt, I appreciate that. I was almost starting to question myself on all the crunches I was doing. I was thinking it was affecting the results in some funny way. But I'm going to keep on doing them. I've noticed that I have alot more energy than I had before I started SP. The many crunches have definitely contributed. Hope you have a great day.

Hi Lee,

That's one of the goofy things about weight loss, your body may adjust in ways you never imagined. Since we don't get to choose where we lose and gain weight we are often surprised by results. With how much you've been working out lately there is no question that you're building some muscle and burning some fat. It's just a matter of where in your body it's taking place.

Congrats on the 8 lbs!!! =)

This is very puzzling to me. I lost 8 pounds this week, but I gained three fourths inch in my waist, hips stayed the same, and my neck I lost three eighths of an inch. I'm not sure how this can be, especially since I've done so many crunches I'm about to go crazy:-))) Don't get me wrong I'm very happy about the weightloss. But just puzzled. Hope you all are having a great day.
