will have to agree with both DD and golfpro aswell, best to eat a more bigger breakfast and cutting down on lunch and dinner, mainly as if you eat those calories eariler, you have more of the day in which to burn them off, also helps give you the energy to get through your day with just lil boosters throughout the day (in form of lunch and dinner).

I usually always eat a big breakfast (usually toast and something, beans or eggs of whatever, plus alot of juice and alot of fruit), then i have dinner at lunch time (around 1ish) and finish with tea around 6ish, which will usually be a sandwich or something. Been trying to adjust to the whole 5 meals a day thing byt i just can't seem to change into it, if anyone has any suggestions on how i can, then please do let me know.

Breakfast - 1.1 oz. of Special K Red Berries, 1/2 cup of nonfat milk. Add in a slice of light wheat bread with spray butter.

Total damage: 190 calories.

DD.....good rule! Theres an old saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper". The biggest factor is to just make sure a person eats breakfast. There was a recent study that showed the average person who skips breakfast will gain 10 lbs over a year. While the person who eats breakfast will maintain their weight.

My rule on breakfasts is that I eat pretty much whatever I want -- I just don't go nuts over doing it. The rest of the day I watch what I eat. My reasoning is that breakfast starts your day, so you'll have the rest of the day to deal with any extra calories consumed at the start. This rule allows me to have one donut on Friday. Gotta have my donuts. Know what I mean?

Love mini wheats, skim milk and wheat toast. Top it off with orange juice

I eat a lot of Kashi-Go-Lean cereal for breakfast. It is very satisfying though it looks a lot like a bowl of twigs.

My suggestion for breakfasts: buy an Egg & Muffin Toaster.

I eat pretty much the same thing for breakfast every day:

1 100% whole wheat english muffin
1/3 cup Kirkland Egg Starts (Costco-brand Egg Beaters alternative)
1 slice Kraft Free American cheese
1 tbsp Country Crock Light

It takes about 10 minutes to make, but it's a really nice breakfast sandwich that's only ~240 calories.

A wheat mini bagle with real Peanut Butter or light cream cheese works well for on the go breakfasts. Egg beaters make good omeletts and you could have turkey bacon or turkey sausage every now and then. There are lots of choices their just not as easy to find as the unhealthy stuff. Forget most fast food joints.

Try an egg white omelette with turkey instead of the ham/bacon.

Instant oatmeal.
Total or some other non-sugary cereal.
Grapefruit.
Yogurt.

I eat poached eggs on toast pretty often, but I've got an eggpoacher for microwave ovens that's fast and easy.

Yesterday was the first day I actually met my goal. It has been a lot harder than I thought to fall into my daily goal requirements with as much as I commute. I spend most of my time away from the house.

I am a meat and potatoes guy so all of this calorie cutting and fat cutting requires more preparation work than I thought. I used to run to the nearest joint and just grab something for breakfast or lunch. With sparkpeople counting all of this stuff for me, I actually look things up before heading out. I have found some real gems in the ruff though.

My lunches are primarily Chipotle for now. I figured out that the burrito bol has 300 fewer calories than the burrito. The tortilla is what kills you. Each lunch is 720 calories with the extra lettuce.

Breakfast is conderably harder. I am used to the ham and cheese omelette morning or the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. The best I can do is Pop-tarts (blah).

Does anyone have any suggestions for breakfasts?
