I work third shift, so the word 'breakfast' doesn't have much meaning for me, so I just call them feeding sessions. Pretty much any fruit qualifies for breakfast though. Do you eat before you leave or are you talking stuff for on the road? Grapefruit halves with splenda, bananas, raisins, grapes, apples, peaches. Yogurt? I like to sprinkle 'Back to Nature' granola on fruit and yogurt or eat a serving of it on it's own. Any cereal dry in small quantities is usually okay. Even an ounce of Frosted Flakes is only 140 calories or so. I eat those hotel boxes of cereal like trail mix and even mix in a half ounce of nuts sometimes. (Or get those little snack bags and portion them out.) Some of the breakfast wraps aren't too bad for calories but they're usually fatty and salty if you watch those things yet. Another fatty and salty one that's not off the chart for calories is make your own sausage sandwich with Healthy Life rolls (80 cal.), pre-cooked sausage patty (250 or so), and fat free cheese slice (35 or so). Add some fat free chips or soy chips and you've got it for under 600 or so calories, but then you have to watch the rest of the day. I prefer the fruit, yogurt and cereal route because I can usually do that for under 500 calories. Choices aren't unlimited, but there's a fair variety available. Good luck!

John - that's great you met your goal - every achievement is wonderful - and they build upon themselves - so congrats on that.
My favorite breakfast has become about 1 to 2 cups of berries with low fat yogurt and a tbsp of flax seed with a small low-sugar cranberry juice. Sometimes I add some rice chex or cheerios. I like Schwan's triple berry blend which has blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. But sometimes I have just one or the other. The stores have pretty good frozen berries now or sometimes I'll prepare fresh.
Best wishes to you.

Yesterday was the first day I actually met my goal. It has been a lot harder than I thought to fall into my daily goal requirements with as much as I commute. I spend most of my time away from the house.
I am a meat and potatoes guy so all of this calorie cutting and fat cutting requires more preparation work than I thought. I used to run to the nearest joint and just grab something for breakfast or lunch. With sparkpeople counting all of this stuff for me, I actually look things up before heading out. I have found some real gems in the ruff though.
My lunches are primarily Chipotle for now. I figured out that the burrito bol has 300 fewer calories than the burrito. The tortilla is what kills you. Each lunch is 720 calories with the extra lettuce.
Breakfast is conderably harder. I am used to the ham and cheese omelette morning or the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. The best I can do is Pop-tarts (blah).
