I try to keep plenty of different fruit options handy. In fact, I'm eating a fruit platter I prepared at this very second. An apple, orange, few grapes, and a banana will make you very full in a hurry.

Good job staying strong. The water is a great idea... and, if you have to give in, just have a couple of chips or crackers or whatever instead of the whole bag... I find that baby carrots work for me when I just HAVE to eat something... crunchy and sweet. Not the same as chips, of course, but the craving WILL pass soon enough.

Another trick which I use is to go brush my teeth. It helps with all sorts of oral cravings. It was one my tricks to help me quit smoking years ago and I revived it for my weight mgmt program.

I appreciate that. Its like I get tempted like that everyday. Today I didn't have the will power. My wife and I went and ate Chinese food. I couldn't find the items in the food tracker, so I don't think I stayed within my food limit. The one thing I did do though, was drink water instead of the usual 3 or 4 cokes. So hopefully i did ok. If I can be of help to you all, just let me know. Have a great night.

Man you must have some will power. Great job on shaking the temptation. I wasn't able to do it. I've been at spark for 27 days and I feel of the wagon big time last week. I recommitted this Monday Apr 10th. I went through my frig and through away everything that wasn't good for me. Needless to say my frig looked pretty empty. So I went food shopping. Only healthy things in my house now. Good luck man and take caer

Ok, it passed. Thanks Samsdad. I went and drank alot of water and came back to the computer and stayed here. And the feeling is gone.

Thanks, I'm going to go drink some water right now. I don't really want to eat anything because I already have 1600 calories for the day. Hopefully the water will work and like you said I will exercise if it doesn't.

I try different things. Drink lots of water. Go exercise, eat something healthy but a godd portion of it. So a large grapefruit or 2 or 3 large carrots or a couple of apples. At least that way what you eat will be good for you.

Good luck! Let us know how you do, and if you do give in, remember it will not be the end of the world. We all give in to temptation sometimes.

I need help here. I'm sitting at the computer at 2:09 pm on this Good Friday. I'm here all by myself and the wife is at work. I'm being tempted to go and get some very fattening food and drinks. I don't want to do it but the feeling is very strong. What do you all do when that feeling hits you?
