I think its great that you are finding things that work for you. Just as a reminder (so the rest of us don't feel bad), water retention can cause up to a 5 lb change in 24 hours time. Also, muscle ways more than fat, so if you've started exercising or weight training and haven't seen a change on the scale, that doesn't mean you aren't benefiting from it.

What are they? Reason I don't like to eat vegetables is because they are so "plain". I never know when it says 5 gms of sugar - is that alot?? So I try to eat frozen or fresh which can be a pain. Anythng that requires extra work I seem to lose interest immediately.

I started experimenting with different herbs. There's a mixture of buttery tasting herbs I like to use on vegetables.

I like the sugar free jello - tried the sugar free pudding which also is OK - at least it let's you get something "sweet" into your life. Have you tried the sugar free ice cream bars. I use those as a reward if I eat decent all day and do SOME kind of exercise. Good thing smoking didn't take this long or I would not have made it. Thanks for the positive feedback - it will help me today.

My wish for you today is that you lose a pound!! Hugs, Sandy

Glad to hear you have lost 3 lbs. - are you exercising? I am having such a rough time - nothing seems to work. I quit smoking 7 months ago and think my metabolism has stopped.

I couldn't face lowfat cottage cheese today for lunch, so I added some unsweetened jello powder-tasted good. I drink a Zero Diet Rite Cola occassionally. Use Mrs. Dash instead of salt,and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray-no calories or anything. Even use it on toast, vegetables, baked potatos, and use it to cook my low fat omlet with 1 whole egg and 1 egg white and add low fat cheese and vegies. Anyone got any I might want to use. I've lost 3 lbs. my first week. Really feeling good!!
