Carmeldelight, How are you today? That is great that you bought fruit you are off to a great start. I would suggest if you have a work fridge maybe cut up celery, carrots, something that you can snack in a hurry. Have you heard of munchum's. Not sure the brand name but they are called munchum's. They are snackable cinnamon crackers, 100 calorie oreo's and fig newtons are good to eat for snacks. But the carrots and celery you can get already sliced up at Walmart. I know that some people aren't really into the veggies but they are good. I love bananas and those you can eat in a hurry. I saw on Oprah the other day that this lady would drink a glass of water when she had a snack craving. Then she would wait 15 minutes and her craving would be gone. Since I started SP, my cravings have literally haulted. Don't get me wrong I still have them once in a while but I think to myself how long would I have to work out or walk to walk this off. Give yourself time. Believe in yourself and stay strong when others in the office are eating unhealthy and you are craving anything and everything. You can do it. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. I am here for you if you need me. Oh, I forgot weight watchers have a huge line of foods now. I have gotten several and I can't complain. Very good. Some are in the isle by the breads, and some over by the weight management area. Slimfast also offers great muffin bars, snack bars, and other items. Jennifer

Ladybugk03, Thanks so much for the support and welcome note. I just got to work and as I was explaining to someone yesterday, I am struggling with snacking at work. I did stop this morning to buy fruit instead of sweets, so thats a start. Someone suggested that I try chewing gum, so I got some of that too. Do you have any suggestions?

HI Ladies,
I just wanted to welcome each of you! I hope you are getting around the site ok. Please let me know if you have any questions. There are so many great resources here to help you reach your goals. I think so far my favorite feature is the exercise selector in the fitness resource center. You can click on the target areas of your body that you want to work on (after I had my last daughter, the tummy was goal!) and it offers exercises that you can do at home! Hope you enjoy it too.
Be well, Kelly

This is what losing weight (what I call it is a lifestyle change) is all about. Having support is a big key. I am here always to lend support, advice (although I am not very good in the advice department but I try. wink), and just an all around listener. Always know that with sparkspeople we are all here to help each strive to become better people. Welcome again. Jennifer

Hi, welcome to Sparkspeople. Its a great site very supportive and very helpful. You sound like you have your hands full. I am a stay at home mom of two. I love it. Very lucky that I get to stay at home also. Sometimes I wish there was more that I could do outside the home but I think not a lot of mommies get to stay home and watch their precious babies grow. I wanted to tell you, you are not alone on the low self image. I have it too right now but I am working on it everyday. I just say to myself I am worth it because you are. If you need anything support or just a fellow mom to talk to I am here for you. thinjen2006@sbcglobal.net. Welcome again your gonna love it here like I have the past three months.
