| My detour is any sort of break in my routine. If I have to travel, there goes the discipline. If I get a cold, there goes my workout time in the pool.

Thanks for substitute idea. Here in KC there is a pizza place that does wheat, thin crust, supreme. I thought I had it down, but I think you have a great alternative. Thanks for sharing.
Now is there bottled water that taste like a cold brew?

Pizza was my real killer... then my lady and I discovered a healthy substitute that you can make in less time than it takes to have a pizza delivered.. and for a fraction of the cost.
If you weakness is pizza, I say to you this...
Buy some Lebanese bread (round bread stuff) Throw on some ham, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, cabanossi, green peppers.
I can now eat an ENTIRE pizza... for less than 600 calories.
If I knew how to put together a recipe... I would.. but seriously... try making your own pizza.. it takes like less than 5 minutes to make and 7 minutes to cook.

My diet detour is fast food.
Especially this weekend: I made an internal goal to hand in a draft of my Thesis this weekend; meanwhile my precious wife (pictured) made an internal goal to remodel the bathroom.
So we've been stripping wallpaper, painting, makin a visit to the Home Improvement store, changin out the commode, puttin up new fixtures, another trip or two the the Home Improvement store, re-caulking the tub... and in between trying to pound this paper out, and keep cooking healthy meals. We actually did pretty good (I think), but I don't really know, cuz I didn't have time to track what I'm eating.
Upside... prolly burned lots of calories thru all that!

| Mine is all fast foods, and chili made the old fashioned way. Lots of fat:-))) And a big ole coke to go along with it.

| I'll second the pizza and beer.. have a hard time not finishing the entire large pizza (and then possibly getting into the lady's) or not going through 10-12 beer. On top of that I would add all salty snacks, chicken wings, and I'm a sucker for a Big Mac still, even though I know what goes into them AND how bad they are for you
