| think the Jays really improved with their off season acquisitions. they needed help in pitching, and they also got better in the field and offensively. they jusy might make things interesting.

Cool! I get that same email daily. Good stuff. Speaking of baseball, I'm heading out to see the opening night of the Tennessee Smokies' season. They're scrimaging the Univ. of Tennessee Vols tonight. I hope I can maintain my diet while I'm there. It'll be tempting to have a few beers and dogs!!!

I get a daily "Zen" quote from an online calendar. Today's came from that well-known Zen master, the late Kirby Puckett:
"You see the ball, you hit the ball. They hit the ball, you catch the ball. You catch the ball, you throw the ball. That’s it."

Just got back from opening day @ the K. Beautiful weather, great atmosphere, and I thing the Royals are still gonna bomb this season. They only manufactured one run while allowing 3 dingers to the Tigers. Opposing players are going to have career series and some seriously padded stats after playing KC.

| I don't have opening day tickets, but we have tickets in June to see the Cubs play the Brewers at Wrigley. Really looking forward to it. Wrigley has to be the best place in the world to watch a game. I'm a long-suffering Cubs fan from the Chicago area, now living near Cindy. When I was growing up, you were either a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan, so I can't seem to get into the Sox even though they are the champs. Cincy hasn't given us much to cheer about lately, either.

I'd like to be going to the Blue Jays home opener.. but I already made plans for that day Hoping they have as good a season as has been projected

| With a shaky pitching staff, you might have some success in rooting against the Yankees this year. However, it will get hard to stop all of the bats in that lineup.

I dont root against many teams unless they are in the same division as my favorite team but I have always rooted against the almighty Yankees. I am sure just because they have been good for so long which makes it easier to root against them.
Good luck on the season and whoever your team is (even the Yankees) cheer them on and enjoy the season!!

| I'd like to go see a St. Louis or Cincinnati game. I lived in Kentucky when Cincy had the Big Red machine. I guess those days are gone:-(((

Royals vs. Tigers, it may be the last time KC is at .500.
The inspiring thing about the Royals is that I'll try to lose weight as much as they lose games!
