you don't need a 'smoothie-maker' - can just use a regular blender. talking about being regular... often a problem when there's a change in diet, so i like to combat that with smoothies. dried prunes, dried apricots and fresh apple make a refreshing smoothie. pour in skimmed milk and low-fat yoghurt [only 55kcals/100g], blend for thirty seconds and drink about two hours before bed. it's also a great way to beat those mid-evening hunger blues. but then, i'm majorly sold on the smoothie way - as long as you only have one/two a day there's not too much milk involved. and remember to drink your regulation 8 glasses of water!
